"Spiritual awakening is awakening from the dream of thought" Eckhart Tolle, 'Stillness Speaks'
About me

My name is Louise, and I’m a mother of two living in Saffron Walden.
Over the years, I’ve explored many ways to move my body, discovering that movement as a powerful tool to calm the mind, reconnect with the body, and reignite the joy that’s always within us, just waiting to be uncovered. Yoga and meditation have been my anchors, helping to quiet my busy mind while keeping my body strong and balanced.

In 2019, I founded Saffron Walden Action on Climate Change, where I discovered an incredible sense of community and purpose. However, the weight of the climate crisis left me feeling powerless, and when the first Covid lockdown hit, I made the difficult decision to close SWACC.

Part of that decision was also choosing to home educate our children—a journey of growth and reflection for our entire family. Taking a path less traveled prompted me to question many assumptions about life and society I had once accepted without challenge.

Throughout these seasons of profound change, yoga and meditation remained my constant companions. They grounded me in moments of fear and reminded me of what truly matters. Inspired, I embarked on yoga teacher training to deepen my understanding. Along the way, I discovered a passion for sharing this life-affirming journey with others.
"Look at a tree, a flower, a plant. Let your awarenesss rest upon it. How still they are, how deeply rooted in Being. Allow nature to teach you stillness"
Stillness Speaks, Exkhart Tolle
I draw particular inspiration from Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now, where he beautifully shows how living fully in the present brings peace, clarity, and awe for the world around us. 'Now' is all there ever is—everything that has ever happened has happened in the 'Now'.

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with Barefoot Body at CAMYOGA in Cambridge, and I’m excited to share my passion for movement and mindfulness with you.
I love learning new skills, keeping chickens, coffee, trees, the stars and sky, nature walks, Arnold Schwarzenegger and dinosaurs.
